Garage Sale Take 2

This Saturday we are going to do another garage sale fundraiser! We have laid low the past 3-4 months in terms of our fundraising, so it is time to get going again. Some very kind folks at the church we are attending have given some items to sell and also let us borrow tables to put the stuff on. I’ve had great motivation to open up all the leftover boxes. It has been much easier to get rid of our own items this time around since we know where we are living! It has been incredibly freeing to let go of items we’ve been dragging around. It sure would have been easier to get rid of it 5 years ago, but that we before we knew it would BE 5 years, or that there would be many, many moves involved for the stuff. Plus, this way it can all go to benefit Baby Owens. That part makes me very happy.

We have to pay $360 soon to update our information with the USCIS. We are praying that God might allow us to make this entire amount to cover that cost. Would you pray with us for $360 on Saturday? The weather is supposed to be amazing so we hope that will encourage folks to get out and buy We’ll let you know how it goes and if I remember I’ll even take photos!
